Payment Terms Terms are strictly payment before delivery unless prior arrangements have been made. A deposit of 30% of the total order price will be paid to Digitography on placement of order, with balance to be paid on receipt of goods. In the event of cancellation of the order, the company reserves the right to withhold 10% the total order price to cover holding charges, expenses and the like, if a deposit of more than 10% was given the difference will be returned to the customer. At this time the payment Methods that Digitography has is, Cash, Cheque, or Direct Deposit into our Bank account, please ask us for our bank account details if required. Dishonoured Cheques/Deposits All charges incurred as a result of dishonoured cheques/deposits are the responsibility of the customer. Digitography reserves the right to charge interest at current overdraft rates on all unpaid cheques/deposits until full settlement is received. Digitography also reserves the right to charge a $15.00 documentation fee. ALL CHEQUES MUST BE MADE OUT TO CRAIG MCDONALD, any cheques made out to Digitography will be refused. Warranty
1. Labour warranty is provided on the grounds that the customer contacts a Digitography service agent to retrieve the system and repair back at base and to then be returned upon completion. Warranty does not cover onsite work. Minimum turnaround is 3 working days but work may be completed within a shorter period based on the availability of service agents and complexity of the repair required. 2. ^=This parts and labour warranty only covers components contained within the purchased computer system tower (i.e.: Motherboard, CPU, Optical Disk Drive(s), Hard Disk Drive(s), Video Card, Sound Card, RAM, Modem, Network Card, Expansion Cards, Power Supply Units, etc). Warranty on all external peripherals will have their own manufacturers warranty (eg Printers, Scanners, and Monitors) as the manufacturer specifies, and is subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturers’ warranty. (E.g. Canon printers have only a 12 month RTB warranty at an authorized canon service centre) where it is the customers responsibility to return it to such authorized service centres they the customers own cost. All hardware will be returned to the manufacturer and it is at the manufacturers’ discretion to either repair or to replace the hardware. Digitography recommends to our customers that they keep all packaging of all hardware for suitable transportation in the event that the product needs to be returned to the manufacturer 3. *= Upgrades warranties are covered for only a period of 12 months on the parts installed by Digitography. If the computer should fault due to the cause of another component that was not upgraded by Digitography, or is out of its warranty period Digitography will not cover this and full labour rates will apply. 4. Faults cause by power inconsistencies are not covered under warranty regardless of the age of the hardware. However these faults can be repaired under some insurance companies, however please consult your insurance company for more details. 5. All warranty repairs are to be done by a Digitography service agent or technician. Digitography will not reimburse any customer for any work that is completed by a non Digitography service agent or technician. Customers are required to keep original purchase receipt for all warranty claims; failure to produce a receipt will incur the full cost of the repair including labour. 6. All software supplied and installed by Digitography is installed and configured to default specifications. Software faults are NOT covered under any part of the warranty. Repairs to software faults will incur full labour service rates. In the event of a Hard Drive fault Digitography do not guarantee and do not take responsibility for loss of data. We will however restore the original operating system and driver configuration onto the hard drive. 7. Digitography will only warrant Software and Hardware directly purchased from Digitography, items purchased else where does not qualify for warranty from Digitography. 8. The Terms & Conditions explained above are non-negotiable and will commence from the invoice date and will end at the applicable time. Hardware parts that are replaced during the warranty period does not result in another warranty commencing at the time of the replacement hardware being installed, these parts replaced will only have the original warranty from the original purchase date. Guarantee All PC’s come with a 7 day Money Back Guarantee from the day the PC is received by the customer. Please note that PC’s and peripherals may not be accepted upon customer return if they are damaged or not with their original packaging. There will be a 10% of the total invoice price as a restocking fee. No refunds will be given after the 7-day period. Turn Around Time Turn around time from order is dependant on the availability of stock and service agents however Digitography will endeavour to deliver your system within 10 days of you ordering it.
